In the fall of 2025, Case IH renewed the short-wheelbase Puma models. However, deliveries were not promised until a year later. Compared to New Holland's similar T7 range, only three of the largest models were available. In the Steyr range, the series was known as the 6000 Impuls.

The engines were modernized FPT 6.7-liter engines with modernized control. Maximum power was achieved at 1,600 rpm, and a good portion of that was additional power that could be utilized in transport operation and when using the power take-off or hydraulics. There was no exhaust gas recirculation, but the cleaning technology relied mainly on urea. A wastegate turbo was used as the turbo. The service interval had been extended to 750 hours.

The continuously variable CVXDrive transmission now had a third range gear, to avoid the range change at tillage speeds that plagued previous versions and to improve efficiency in transport operation.

The new transmission option was the new 24+24 ActiveDrive8 dual-clutch transmission. This was also available on Steyr, which usually only offered continuously variable transmissions. The basic transmission was the ActiveDrive6 with a 6-speed overdrive. It had 18+6 gears and 19+6 in the 50 km/h version.

The new front axle had doubled the number of suspension pressure accumulators and improved maneuverability. The turning circle diameter was stated to be 11.4 meters. The Class 4.1 front axle was promised a load capacity of 9 tons, and the basic model 6 tons.

The basic structure of the cab was the same, but the interior had been renewed to resemble the larger models. The most significant change was the new Multicontrol II armrest and the 12-inch touchscreen available for it. Three different roof heights were available. The hydraulic output had increased to 150 liters. 120 l/min was also available with the basic transmission.
