Info

In 1971, model 354 replaced model 276, and model 444 replaced model 434. The new models still used the old 4-cylinder pre-chamber diesels, which now had power outputs of 35 and 42 hp. However, the design was new, and the grille was checkered. The factory-installed Victor cab was quite good, but in Finland, more modest Siro and Turla cabs were installed instead. The power take-off was now independent of the drive clutch. The only technical differences between the 354 and the 444 were the engine and a 10" clutch plate instead of an 11" one.

These tractors were the last Internationals manufactured at the Bradford factory, and in the final phase, production was transferred to Doncaster. At the same time, IH's engine manufacturing ended in England. Only model 444 was imported to Finland.

The data has been collected primarily from brochures. In some cases, sources contain conflicting information. In such cases, we have attempted to select the most reliable information. There is particularly significant variation in speed data, which varies depending on factors such as tire size. For tires, only the size most commonly used in Finland is listed. Other changes during the model history have been addressed in the text section. For the front axle lock, the Finnish term "hammaslukko" (gear lock) is used for all 100% locks.
