In the summer of 1995, a completely renewed Deutz-Fahr Agrotron model range was introduced. The similarity to its predecessors was mainly limited to the color and the slanted hood seen in some earlier models. The design was characterized by an unprecedented roundness in all surfaces.

In the same year, Deutz-Fahr’s tractor production was sold to the Same Group, but this had no impact yet on the creation of the Agrotron series. Deutz-Fahr began to be imported to Finland by the factory’s subsidiary in 1996.

The Agrotrons featured new liquid-cooled engines from the former owner, KHD. The four-cylinder engines had a displacement of only 3.2 liters.
